Rule Question 1
When playing solo, how should the player decide which room or garden the bot (Automa) places its meeple in when there are multiple valid choices?
Rulesplainer 1
The official solo rules state that in cases where multiple spaces for bot placement are available, the player is allowed to choose freely. Many players, however, prefer to use a random method, like rolling a die, to eliminate bias and add unpredictability. For example, if there are three rooms, assign numbers to each and roll a die to select one. Either method is acceptable; it is up to the player’s preference.

Rule Question 2
Does the AI (bot) score Clan Points for its gardeners at the end of rounds 1 and 2 only if there are dice remaining on the associated bridges, or always for each placed gardener?
Rulesplainer 2
The bot receives Clan Points (CP) for its gardeners only if those gardeners are “activated” at the end of rounds 1 and 2, which means the bridge above the gardener must have at least one die left. This matches the rule for player gardeners. Mistakenly counting points for every placed gardener (regardless of bridge cubes) is incorrect, as confirmed by consensus and specific rulebook language and videos.

Rule Question 3
When the Automa must place a gardener and there are several free gardens with the same (lowest) Clan Points, how should the player decide where the bot places the gardener?
Rulesplainer 3
The rules let the player pick any of the eligible gardens, but many players prefer using a quick, random method such as a die roll to prevent unconscious bias. This is optional; the essential rule is simply to place the gardener in any free garden with the specified lowest CP as indicated by the bot’s card. Random selection is popular for maintaining fairness.

Rule Question 4
Do the Automa action cards ever instruct the player to place a gardener on the highest CP garden, or is it always the lowest?
Rulesplainer 4
Based on the Automa deck discussed in the thread, the garden placement action cards always instruct the player to choose the lowest CP (Clan Points) garden (indicated by an arrow pointing down). There are currently no Automa cards instructing for the highest CP; if multiple gardens have the lowest CP, the player chooses which one to use (optionally by random means).

Rule Question 5
Is there a difference between Clan Points (CP) and Victory Points (VP), or are they interchangeable in the context of this solo mode?
Rulesplainer 5
In this game, the official term is Clan Points (CP), not Victory Points (VP). While players may casually refer to them interchangeably, the designers intend “CP” to be used specifically, and players in the thread are encouraged to use the official terminology for clarity.
